This month, we've seen some incredible achievements from our students! Several students participated in the regional science fair, with two of our bright young minds earning first-place awards for their innovative projects. We're so proud of their hard work and dedication. We encourage all students to embrace the power of education and to explore their interests through various subjects. Also, our reading program is going strong, with record numbers of books being read by our students. The staff is consistently creating unique and engaging curriculum to challenge our students. IOSCSnowflakes is committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals. Beyond the core curriculum, we offer a range of specialized programs designed to cater to diverse interests and talents. We're always looking for ways to enhance our academic offerings. This month, we're excited to announce the launch of a new coding club for middle school students. This initiative will not only provide academic support but also foster a sense of community and collaboration. And in order to best support the school, we've increased our academic staff. The soccer team is heading to the championship game, and the basketball team is off to a great start this season. We also have a very active debate club. The students have been preparing for several debates throughout the year. We are very proud of all the students who compete! And our art club is preparing for its annual art exhibition, which will showcase the amazing talent of our students. We are working hard to ensure that all students have an inclusive experience.

Let's shine a spotlight on some of our amazing clubs and student achievements this month. The robotics club has been hard at work designing and building robots for the upcoming regional competition. We have a lot of students who are dedicated to this club and very proud of their hard work! And the drama club is busy rehearsing for their fall play, which promises to be a spectacular performance. We can't wait to see all of their hard work. Several students have also earned prestigious awards in various competitions, including the National History Bee and the Math Olympiad. These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication and talent of our students. We are consistently looking for opportunities to make sure that our student's needs are met. We want to support the students to the best of our ability. Our ultimate goal is for all students to have a great learning environment and to feel safe and welcome. Upcoming Events

• Parent-Teacher Conferences: October 26th and 27th - Sign-ups will be available online. Please make sure to sign up as soon as possible, so you have the best options available!
• Fall Festival: November 10th - A fun-filled day of games, food, and activities for the whole family. Bring your friends and families! We will have a lot of fun activities!
• School Holiday (Thanksgiving Break): November 22nd-24th - No school, enjoy your time with your loved ones! Have a great Thanksgiving!

Reminders and Deadlines

• Progress Reports: Progress reports will be sent home on October 13th. Please review them with your child and discuss any areas of concern. We are always there to help and support your children. Please let us know if there is anything that we can help you with!
• Enrollment for After-School Programs: The deadline to enroll in after-school programs is October 20th. Don't miss out on these enriching activities for your child. Make sure to sign up before it is too late! Please reach out to us if you have any questions!
• Picture Day: October 18th, make sure your child is looking their best for picture day! We love seeing the students show their best self. We want to make sure they have a great experience!
